In October, Justin LeBlanc and I attended the Fluid
Controls Institute Fall Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio. We travelled by
car from Toronto via Buffalo to Cleveland. Well – Buffalo got
nailed with snow! So we had to drive around Lake Erie to get home.
What’s my point? We drove around the entire Lake in two days. Sure

years of service to the fluid control industry. Focused on
technical issues, the Institute provides standards and educational
materials to assist you. FCI has many publications online,
including of course, a “Guide to the Selection, Installation and
Maintenance of Pipeline Strainers”. In closing, we extend our
Congratulations to Melissa Lea Smink and James Justin LeBlanc who
were married on October 28, 2006 in Smithville, Ontario, Canada.
