8-inch Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) Connection Boot for a Flare
Upgrade System bound for an oilsands mining site north of Fort
McMurray in Alberta. Fabricated from carbon steel, the unit has
four nozzle connections to attach to the piping system. To satisfy
our customer’s strict requirements, nondestructive examination and
testing including radiography, hardness testing and ultrasonic
testing of welds was performed on this unit and the Design was
registered for CRN with the Alberta Boiler Safety Association
